Convenient Bundle Install for Son of Big Boss' Beta Vehicles Arsenal, version 4, compiled together by Sergiu.

 -Why was this package created?-

Simple! Instead of having to manually download and replace each vehicle, this pack does it for you, in a most convenient manner!
Not only do you get the benefit of that but you also get to keep your vanilla vehicles in gta3.img intact, because this bundle
uses a separate IMG archive to load vehicles from. And it's also modloader friendly

Extra NOTE: The optional folder contains these alternate designs, some taken from the late beta prototype build:

-Alpha III based NPC Police Maverick.
-GTA III's Toyz Van.
-Coastguard Maverick (including an updated variant modeled after the shorter VCN Maverick design).
-Late Beta Admiral, Banshee, Blista Compact, Comet, Deluxo, Esperanto, FBI Rancher, FBI Washington, Firetruck, Idaho, Manana, Patriot, Phoenix, Police car (with late beta colors), Rancher, Regina, Squalo (which features a different spoiler), Washington

Those are included for the sake of completionism and you may freely throw them into your IMG archive instead of the earlier beta models if you wish to do so. As for the Wheels set, you can drop the files in the models/generic folder.

How to install:

1) Extract the contents of the .rar archive.

2) Place "extradirfix.asi" within your main directory/root folder of Vice City.

3) Place betacars.img and betacars.dir in your "models" folder.

4) Place the provided data files in your very own Vice City data folder, make sure to back the originals up if you'll need them later.
These files are needed for the game to run a separate archive + beta carcols and vehicle spawn/wheel data.

5) Place the vehicles.col file provided into the coll folder, which can be found in Vice City in the directory models/coll. Back up if needed.

6) Place the american.gxt file found in the folder named "text" which can be found in Vice City in the directory models/coll. Back up if needed.

7) Last but not least, replace the wheel models from the models/generic directory from Vice City with the ones provided. Back up if needed.

Install shouldn't take more than a minute or two, it's as easy as that!
Thanks for getting the Convenient Bundle Install and enjoy your fully restored beta Vice City traffic!

INFORMATION FOR MODLOADER USERS:

*This pack was originally premade to drag and drop in the vanilla game folder as mentioned above, those being the data and model folders files

*If you are using Modloader, you can drop the entire mod into a single modloader folder and it will be fully functional, but you must have this consideration: Keeping the optionals folder can cause the late beta models to replace existing vehicles from the mod, so it's your choice to include or not to include the optionals as they directly affect the vehicle models that will spawn in game.

*Late Beta Cutscene Admiral (merced.dff and txd) doesn't work along with the rest of the pack as an optional, so if you want to have this version, you would have to replace the files in betacars.img

*Coastguard Maverick models have special instructions that are included in their folders, if you keep the optional folder of the helicopter within the mod folder, the game could crash. So make sure to either install the mod, or remove the folder.

*There is a folder included in the mod called text that countains FXT files, they work with Modloader to make the game show the beta names of the vehicles on screen, other than that they don't do anything in a traditional mod installation, instead if you placed the american.gxt file as a traditional installation the game will take the names from there.
